The Boiling Springs Town Council will hold a public hearing on June 29, 2021 at 6:30 pm in the Boiling Springs Town Hall located at 114 E. College Avenue, Boiling Springs, NC. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider public comment regarding the proposed 160D Subdivision and Zoning Ordinance Amendments to the Town of Boiling Springs Code of Ordinances as required by the N.C. General Assembly.
These are updates that the legislature is requiring municipalities to complete before August 1st. The goal of these changes is to make planning language consistent across the state. The majority of the changes are language updates to meet the new standards (e.g. Special Use Permits are now referred to as Conditional Use Permits, so there are no large changes that effect our zoning standards).
